Autumn 2025 - Western North Carolina

The Asheville area is gorgeous in autumn, but this year was special. Last year, those of us in Western North Carolina were unable to enjoy it due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. The area was affected by record breaking rain fall that caused devastating flooding and thousands of landslides. Ground saturation and high winds toppled many trees leaving some mountain tops bearing. The Blue Ridge mountains are resilient as the people who call them home and I’m happy to report the beauty of the Blue Ridge Endures.
