Autumn 2025 - Western North Carolina

The Asheville area is gorgeous in autumn, but this year was special. Last year, those of us in Western North Carolina were unable to enjoy it due to the destruction of Hurricane Helene. The area was affected by flooding, landslides and wind that toppled many trees. I wondered if the beauty would be left after the devastation. These photos are available in my zine A Letter From Asheville were I share my thoughts of experiencing an unprecedented natural disaster.
