Haywood Road - West Asheville

Located West of the French Broad river from Downtown Asheville, West Asheville feels like distinct part of town. It’s main drag Haywood Road spans for approximately two miles and features a nearly continuous row of one and two story buildings full of shops, restaurants and bars. I often find myself working from coffee shops along Haywood and as a practice worked to photograph as much of the street as possible. This is an ongoing project and a mixture of digital and film photography.
